Asus Eee 900 Low Cost Sub-Notebook Due In May
Currently sending ripples of excitement around the office is news of the impending UK release of the Asus Eee PC 900 ultraportable laptop.
Priced at a comparatively expensive £329, the most noticeable difference is the increased screen size – up from 7 inches to 8.9 inches, with a widescreen 1,024×600 pixels resolution. With so many websites being authored for 1024 pixel-wide screens, this will bring welcome relief to Eee users fed up with scrolling from left to right (See our review of the original Asus Eee).

E-TEN M750 And M810 Smartphones Announced
Taiwanese technology types E-TEN have whipped away the white sheet covering their new Windows Mobile powered Glofiish M750 and M810 smartphones and are waiting for the gasps of “must have” admiration from the market.
The two phones are near-identical, although the Glofiish M750 smartphone loses the 3G UMTS/HSDPA support of its bigger bro,’ offering GPRS/EDGE data connectivity instead.

Adobe Announces CinemaDNG Open Format
Software giants Adobe has announced plans to lead an initiative to create an open file format for digital cinema files.
The company are currently finalising the tech details of the CinemaDNG workflow in collaboration with leading camera manufacturers like Panavision, Silicon Imaging, Dalsa, Weisscam, and ARRI and software vendors, such as Iridas, The Foundry, and codec provider CineForm.
