Online directory enquiry service 192.com have launched a new service which combines information on the UK Electoral Roll with the data they hold on phone numbers and addresses.
Those using the service are able to search for a people in the way you would expect with a directory, but by combining the Electoral Roll data with “modelled statistical data,” the expected age of the person is also shown.
While the web is ablaze with talk of Microsoft’s possible buyout of Yahoo, the former search engine king is shunting its music subscription customers to Rhapsody as a cost-saving exercise.
American subscribers to Yahoo Music Unlimited can download an unlimited number of tracks, which only remain playable if the users keep up with their $6 per month payments.

LG have announced the imminent launch of their stylish, slimline slider phone, the LG-KF510.
Kitted out in a “Stardust Dark Gray” or “Sunset Red” finish, the LG-KF510 has the waistline of a supermodel at just 10.9mm thick. Those fearing a few beers/back pocket/sit down/doh! phone borked scenario should find some comfort in LG’s claims that it’s a tough little bleeder, with the handset strengthened by a metal frame and the display being made from tempered glass.
It’s been nearly a whole year of waiting, but the big guns at Sigma are insisting that their long overdue and hugely anticipated DP1 digital camera is finally coming around the mountain.

The ever-irreverent News Biscuit has hit upon a story that could well be a traffic monster for them – combining Internet porn and the current presidential race.
Those tricky laugh generators have penned a piece which tells us that some of the presidential hopefuls have realised that, as there are soooo many Internet p0rn addicts, it’s worthwhile them sacrificing the female liberal vote – would would be outraged at such an idea – to get hold of the p0rn maniacs.
Looks like the State noose is tightening in Myanmar/Burma, particularly where the Internet is concerned.
There are reports that blogger, Nay Myo Latt, has been taken into custody, following his blog postings on the suppression of freedoms currently being enacted in the country.
Virgin are always rather good at separate you from your money – usually more money than you thought you wanted to spend – like the ‘opportunity’ of buying a place on the seats by the emergency exists on a plane, you know the ones that use to be free.
