Netflix and Microsoft have signed a deal to stream films and TV programmes to the Xbox 360.
Starting in the autumn, over 10,000 films and TV episodes available to Xbox Live Gold subscribers who are Netflix subscribers, all for no additional cost.

Yesterday we gave an overview of the Teac Reference DR-H300DAB and looked at its usability.

The Teac did a pretty job playing back DVDs through a conventional TV and it even had a pretty good stab at upscaling to 720p and 1080i video resolutions, although a few jagged edges and over-bright colours occasionally gave the game away.

Broadband Rural Customers Lag Behind City Slickers
Londoners lap up broadband almost twice as fast as folks in in Wales and Northern Ireland, according to a survey by BBC News.
The speed tests were carried out by Thinkbroadband.com who whipped out the white coats, chewed pencil ends and rifled through papers as they spent two months analysing broadband speeds in no less than 6,000 locations.

UK Rural Broadband Overtakes Urban
It’s been announced that, for the first time, rural broadband installations across the UK have overtaken those in Urban areas, according to Ofcom.
The whole of the UK breaks down to 59 per cent of households in rural areas now have broadband compared to 57 per cent of urban areas.
