MSI have just released a set of publicity shots for their soon-come budget- ultraportable laptop, labelled the MSI Wind.
We have to say it looks purdy as a picture too, with a smart all-white finish, rounded edges, sleek lines and none of those ugly gaps either side of the screen (like the first-gen Eee).

We’re always up for a bit of merging and have to say all three look rather dandy in their high gloss, smoothed edge, understated way.
Lenovo’s IdeaPad U110 Gets US Release
Primed for release in the US tomorrow is Lenovo’s new IdeaPad U110, a natty looking ultraportable that has certainly piqued our interest.
Resplendent in an unusual etched flowery finish, the Lenovo comes in red or black finishes and looks to be following IBM/Lenovo traditions with a fairly rugged construction that could take a few knocks on the road.

Telecoms giant Orange are reporting a substantial fall in the demand from customers for ringtones, as punters make use of more powerful multimedia handsets to download full length songs instead.

Released last week, Astraware’s Platypus shoot’em up game has already proved a button-straining hit on our handheld.
The sideways scrolling, arcade-style shooter has a lovely retro feel to do it, with graphics created using claymation-style effects, giving the game a fun, sci-fi, Aardman-esque look.

Currently enjoying a nice big synergistic hug and dreaming of a fast-filling cash trough are Nokia and Sony BMG, who have back-slapped themselves silly after striking a deal over the “Comes With Music” service.
The deal will give punters with brand spanking new compatible phones a year’s worth of free access to the Sony BMG music catalogue, with pop-pickers (© Alan ‘Fluff’ Freeman) able to download tracks to both their mobile device and computer via the Nokia Music Store.
