Nokia Slim E71 And E66 Smartphones Announced
Rumbling off Nokia’s great production mills are two additions to its E series range, the QWERTY E71 and E66 slider phones.Both have emerged from lard free diets, sporting trim bodies just 10mm thick for the E71 (pictured above) and 13.6mm for the E66, with a novel ‘quick switch’ letting users change from business to personal use. This tie-loosening types switch home screens, email accounts and calendar to their personal choices as soon as they’ve got the hell out of the office.

Details of Sony Ericssons new range of phones have been leaking all over the Web, with the most interesting being the gaming- orientated F305.Although it’s low on the usual hi-tech features we’ve grown to love – there’s no Wi-Fi or GPS for starters – the silvery thing packs a built-in accelerometer for Wii-style motion controlled games, and a set of PlayStation-like gaming keys next to the display, with a shortcut key to games.

To the surprised gasps of, well no-one, Captain Stevie Jobs set fanboy gussets a-moistening one more time with the announcement of the new 3G iPhone.Now sporting Thinner edges and a full black plastic back, the upgraded handset runs iPhone 2.0 firmware, with Apple claiming that it will load webpages quicker than the N95 and Treo 750 (quote why they’re boasting about it being faster than the 18 month old Treo is anyone’s guess mind.)
