Nintendo’s Wii Fit have announced a tour around the UK to show off the Wii Fit and how people can integrate it into getting themselves … well, fit.
When the Wii Fit was recently launched in the UK, it was reported as selling out pretty much instantly, which grabbed a few headlines.

It may be six years old and primed for official retirement, but fans of the venerable Microsoft Windows XP are hell bent on keeping the operating system alive.
With Microsoft set to start taking XP off shop shelves in June this year, users have been loudly pointing to its superiority over its successor Windows Vista, which has garnered lukewarm reviews since its January 2007 launch.

Chasing down the platform red-faced and jumping on the Eee bandwagon is HP’s new 2133 Mini-Note PC.
Aimed at the same student/family demographic and hoping to emulate the rip roarin’ tearaway success of Asus’s supercheap Eee laptops, the Mini-Note is available in a variety of configurations ranging from $499 upwards (that’s roughly 250 of our British pound notes).

Futuresonic, an Urban Festival of Art, Music & Ideas (as they describe it), is being held again this year.
It’s running 1-5 May in Manchester and is looking like a really interesting, rounded event.
Of equal value, if not greater, to Skype’s voice calling is the IM (Instant Messengering).

Palm packs a generous package of software with the Centro including the excellent Documents To Go 10 (for reading, editing, creating and syncing full Office 2007 Word, Excel, PowerPoint and text files), Pocket Tunes for MP3 playback, and all of the usual Palm PIM applications and utilities.

AOL will be buying social Networking site Bebo for $850m cash.
Well done to all of those at Bebo, the social network that (more or less) quietly got on with building its 40 million members while the other social network shouted about what they were up to.
It’s interesting that the deal is all cash, with one interpretation of that being that Bebo and its backers wanted to cashout rather than receive stock that might decrease in value.
