Use as a phone headset
Pressing the call button when you’re listening to music automatically pauses the track and any voice-dialling commands that you utter are passed over to the handset, dialling the number, if configured.
Projections company Optomo has announced a pocket-sized video projector.
A long time back, Texas Instruments, or TI as it’s commonly referred to as, made the decision that they’d be a big player, if not the largest, in the world of video projectors.
Already on a roll with the success of their Eee series of cheapo ultraportable laptops, Asustek Computers have offered a preview of their new Eee PC 901 which is based on Intel’s soon-come Atom processor.
Punters were given a peek at the Eee PC 901 at the WiMax Expo, and the laptop is expected to be officially launched tomorrow – the same day that Intel’s Diamondville version of its Atom processor becomes available.
If you’re fed up battling with cables that tangle up quicker than a confused Cobra after a crateful of Carlsberg, Logitech’s Pure-Fi Mobile speaker system could be the perfect carry-around for you.

While we were at the Archos launch in London last week we had a run through of the Archos Portation.
It’s a free plugin for owners of the Archos TV+ which lets you stream live TV from your TV+ to a laptop, Symbian phone or handheld Archo 605 or 705 with DVR station if they’re equipped with the £30 plugin.
Think of it as a free Slingbox with your Archos TV+.
MSI have just released a set of publicity shots for their soon-come budget- ultraportable laptop, labelled the MSI Wind.
We have to say it looks purdy as a picture too, with a smart all-white finish, rounded edges, sleek lines and none of those ugly gaps either side of the screen (like the first-gen Eee).

Primed for release in the US tomorrow is Lenovo’s new IdeaPad U110, a natty looking ultraportable that has certainly piqued our interest.
Resplendent in an unusual etched flowery finish, the Lenovo comes in red or black finishes and looks to be following IBM/Lenovo traditions with a fairly rugged construction that could take a few knocks on the road.
Folks keen to lose a bit of excess lard with a bit of pavement pounding, and keen walkers hungry for information about their perambulations might be interested in the latest curious USB gadget to be dreamt up by the hyperactive boffins in Brando’s ever-busy labs.

English computing stalwarts, RM announced that they have the exclusive contract to distribute new HP 2133 Mini-Note PC to schools, colleges and universities in the UK.
A mere day before, HP global had announced the machine would be sold into education.
BT and Sony have announced the release of Go!Messenger, software that runs on Sony’s handheld PSP, enabling Video, Voice and Instant Messaging communications.
