    Jason Binks, Now Head Of Digital and New Media, ITV WorldwideITV Worldwide have a new Vice President of Digital and New Media.

    Jason Binks joins the company to look after all aspects of digital rights, including DTO (Download-To-Own), DTR (Download-To-Rent), and VOD (Video On Demand).

    ITV tell us that he will also support the television and home entertainment sales teams at ITV Worldwide and deal with technology companies in this new environment.

    Binks joins from Roo Media, where he was Senior Sales and Distribution Director for Europe for ten months

    Twitter: A Creative Tool?As with all new forms of communiation, after a while of them being about, some clever creative types comes up with an idea that uses the technology, allowing them to flex their creative muscles.

    One of the oft-cited example is Lonely Girl on YouTube which proported to be a 15 year old girl stuck in difficult times. Within a short period of time LonelyGirl15 was rumbled as being connected to Hollywood powerhouse talent agency, Creative Artists Agency.

    As we all know, Twitter has been around for quite a while now, so it was interesting to hear about a similar creative writing excercise taking place on there.

    Spammers Love Emails Beginning With An A, M, S, R Or PThe quantity of stinking spam heading into your inbox may depend on the first letter in your e-mail address, claims a new study.

    After analysing more than 500 million junk messages, University of Cambridge computer boffin Dr Richard Clayton discovered that e-mail addresses starting with an “A”, “M” or “S” were plagued with around 40% of spam in their mailboxes.

    It appear that for one US broadcaster, NBC, it’s becoming true.

    The number of people accessing their Olympic coverage are highly impressive. After a week of the Games, NBC have had 25 million unique visitors to their NBCOlympics.com site.
