iPod Price Drop. 2GB Added TooApple have dropped the price of the iPod shuffle and introduced a 2GB model.

The 1GB player had dropped down to £32 in the UK ($49 in the US), making it “the most affordable iPod ever” according to Greg Joswiak, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide iPod Product Marketing.

The soon to be released new 2GB model will be priced at £48 in the UK and $69 in the US.

Apple are ramping up the storage of their range, with the last models, the iPod touch and iPhone benefiting from this upgrade just over two weeks ago.

BBC TV Now on iTunes: At The Right Price?

BBC TV Now on iTunesA selection of BBC TV programmes are, from today, available to be bought on iTunes.

BBC Worldwide, the commercial side of the corporation, has penned the deal, which has been long anticipated.

Individual episodes will cost £1.89 with some available as a series bundle, an example being the Catherine Tate Show, selling at £9.99 for six episodes.

It’s their first in the UK and eighth in the world, all following on from the December 2005 opening of their first in Moscow.
