Samsung have let rip with three new models to their NV series of point’n’shooters – the eight mega pixel NV8, 10 mega pixel NV15 and 12 mega pixel NV20.
All three new cameras feature the unique Smart Touch interface which lets users navigate through the menus by sliding a finger across the control buttons running outside the cameras’ 2.5″ LCD screen.

Nokia has just added photo sharing service Twango to their swagbag, giving punters an easy way to share multimedia content through their desktop and mobile devices.
Founded by former Microsoft veterans, Twango is a site for sharing multimedia content (photos, video, audio) offering a wide range of options for people to manage, share, and repurpose their content.

Panasonic has taken the wraps off the the latest model in their FZ superzoom series, the FZ18 which packs an astonishing eighteen times optical zoom.
Sporting a relatively modest 8 megapixel sensor, the SLR-style camera offers an ‘Intelligent Auto Mode’, Face detection, automatic LCD backlight control and high ISO performance.

Leaving the safety and relative sanity of our London office for a six day soiree at Glastonbury, we thought carefully about what gadgets to pack. Being veterans of Glasto – and all too familiar with the minging mudbath of 2005 – we made sure to pack ample waterproof clothing and bring along plenty of plastic bags for wrapping up our gadgets against the inevitable rain.

Rocking up on the 12 megapixel bandwagon is Panasonic, who have just announced their new Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX100 digicam, a sweet-looking snapper sporting a 1/1.72-inch sensor, 28mm wide-angle zoom and image stabilisation.
Shimmying its way to the vanguard of the Lumix FX compact camera series, the Lumix FX100 packs Panasonic’s Venus Engine III processor supporting a High-Speed Burst shooting mode that can knock out a sizzling eight shots per second, with a High Sensitivity mode taking the sensitivity into the stratospheric heights of 6400 ISO.
