What a blunt knife Microsoft’s DRM is. We don’t know if you’ve noticed before, but some time in the last, Microsoft made change to their Media Player, stopping screen grabs of videos that are playing.
Clearly Microsoft thought this would be something that would appeal to content owners in fear of their work being taken without payment – even if it was only a single frame of it.
If you’ve not been into the contacts section of Google Mail recently, you’ll be pleasantly surprised when you do, to see that it’s had a pretty major makeover. We might have noticed it earlier, but we avoided using the old contacts system as it was so clunky previously.
Apple are ‘keeping it real’ again this year, with the second iTunes Music Festival. It’s an opportunity to actually see the people who normally just trickle out of your iPod headphones for speakers.
This year’s event will be at Koko in Camden (nee the Camden Palace), between 1 – 31 July. It’s all opening with N*E*R*D on 1 July. There’s 60 bands playing in total with other artists performing include The Ting Tings, CSS and Chaka Khan.

Will Wii Fit help your sex life?
Let’s not over-state the case here: this is not an aphrodisiac. But still, there is undoubtedly a certain class of couple for whom Wii Fit may bring a new sexual awakening.
The BBC Trust published their findings of the review of the bbc.oc.uk Web site.
This is the first time the BBC Trust had carried out its review, as it’s operating under new Charter arrangements. Previously reviews of BBC services were a job for the Secretary of State.

In the first instalment of our Wii Fit Review: A Month After Living With Wii Fit Ian gave an overview of what Wii Fit is all about. Today we’ve cover starting to use it and detail the aerobic exercises.
Getting started with Wii Fit
Once you’ve added your Mii (i.e. the little cartoon of yourself that’s used in most Wii games) to the Wii Fit Arena, the first step is to establish your baseline “Wii Fit Age”, where the Wii tells you to stand still for a few seconds so that it can measure your weight and centre of gravity. It also asks you to do some basic balance tests (such as leaning from one side to the other to move a circle into a square), and from all of this it calculates your Wii Fit Age.
US lawyers are busying rubbing their hands together with glee as Viacom’s one billion dollar lawsuit against YouTube is submitted to a Manhattan court.
Viacom are suing the owners of the popular video sharing service because of their failure to keep copyrighted material off the site, claiming that they have spotted no less that 150,000 unauthorised clips on YouTube. And that’s a lorra clips.

Here’s the news if you’re thinking of buying a Wii Fit to lose weight, improve overall fitness, live longer and attract cuter sexual partners: it probably won’t make any difference.
I’ve been using a Wii Fit for the past month, having nabbed one on its UK launch date. In that time I’ve maintained my usual levels of diet (mainly vegetarian, probably too much bread, definitely too much cheese, but I’m not a big snacker), exercise (I dog-walk a couple of miles most days, occasionally cycle to take The Boy to school), and my weight according to Wii Fit has not changed at all in a month. Despite spending typically half an hour an evening on it, I am still at the top end of Wii Fit’s “overweight” zone.
Search engine giants Google have progressed another step on their plans to dominate, well, just about everything, with the launch of Google Health, a health information service that combines their high tech search technology with a user’s online personal health records.
