There’s a dilemma in an age of cremations. What is the item of focus for a loss of a loved one? There isn’t an grave to attend and in the time of so much migration for work, even if there is a grave.
Enter The Object Of My Affection.
Eleanor Davies had a very appealing idea – forming handheld unique shapes that are modelled based on the persons DNA and psychometric data based on a Brigs/Myers test.
Once the data has been gathered, it’s fed into the computer programme designed and coded by Eleanor, which will create the relevant shape.
The Objects on show were modelled in dark glass, ceramic, and a precious metal.
A unique and appealing idea.
