You may have seen that every now and again we’ll point out new features in Google’s applications.
Today we spotted a new one in GMail. Way down at the bottom of your GMail page you’ll find “Last account activity: 14 minutes ago at IP” with an IP address, hopefully yours.
The Details link to the right pops up a new, small browser window listing the last five time your GMail account was accessed and what type of access it was (Browser, mobile, POP3, etc.).
If you’re feeling paranoid and concerned that someone else might be accessing your GMail account without your permission – this is a perfect tool.
Otherwise, we doubt you’ll ever look at it again beyond the first time.
