I think this sounds horrible. We do not need to encourage young children and adults to spend anymore time on the couch, regardless of if they are watching the xbox or vcr or just plain old tv.

The guy was talking about sharing those streaming movies in real-time with your friends over Xbox Live. So, a group of friends all over the U.S can watch the same movie and talk to each other as if they are on the same couch. I dont think you can do that with a VCR… I could be wrong.
