The three top people at Google, Larry Page and Sergey Brin and CEO Eric Schmidt have admitted to a 20 year pact to each other and the company.
It was arranged a month before Google’s IPO which made each of them unimaginable rich - so ensuring that they will stick together was an important part in continuing to ensure that Google stayed strong.
When asked how long ago it happened, Schmidt japes “Two years, seven months, and four days ago. But who’s counting? ” in the interview.
The article doesn’t make clear what would happen to any of them if they dare to break the pact … or indeed if it was signed in blood - or the tech equivalent, Jolt cola.
Let’s hope they continue to get along.
