I take your points, and can sense your frustration ubrain.

I expected those in support of Nokia and their ambitions to extend the phone into a fully blow computer (as sam did in part one) would argue that hiccups have to be expected.

Others, like you, say enough already! Please just make my phone to work!

I've been using a N95 for a while and have mixed feeling about it.

It's interesting to note that Nokia carried out a soft launch of the N95 to journalists, not the full blow affair you'd expect with such a feature-crammed phone. I think this points towards them being concious of problems with it.

While I find this review highly disappointing, it's no more than I was expecting. I have suffered the N80 for 10 months now, a phone obviously from the same inbred, dysfunctional genetic line as the N95. All through the 3 parts of this article I had a feeling that, were the N80 to have had these functions, that's exactly how they wouldn't have worked on it too. Actually, although I say I have been suffering the N80 for 10 months, I've actually eneded up using my 'backup' 6680 more and more as, wobbly though it can be, it's rather more reliable than the N80.

Whilst the N95 offers 'even more potential' than the N80, what I'd settle for right now is just an N81 or even just an N80b: A phone that actually delivered what the N80 promised - instead Nokia would rather just continue seeing how many functions they can, in theory, pack into one phone. Has anyone thought to suggest to them that they should only count the functions that actually work in their tally. They may find then that they've been going backwards.

I have used Nokia consistently for 10-15 years but with each new model and it's increased dysfunctionality over its predecessor, I find, despite my resistance, I am being forced to look at other manufacturers' ranges for options.
