@CJ - Thanks CJ, quite right, it does continue, not sure how the To be continued note got left off the bottom - it's there now. UPDATE: Part two, covering the N95 GPS has just been published.

sam - I have one too and have found some of the problems that Richard talks about - agree with you sam about the camera - I was hugely impressed with the quality of the shots - but like Richard, not its sluggishness.

Having chatted to him about it further I think his view comes on the basis of, how long has it been since computers started shipping to the general public, and still we're being given products that don't function properly before they're released. There's more coming, so stay tuned.

well N95 isn't so ordinary first generation of super cellphones basically. so i guess you need to look beyond just basic problems ( which surely with a little knowledge gets solved for example the Xp error ) don't get me wrong i'm sure that richard knows what he is doing and when he wrote this he was trying to look at it from a person with little computer skills. but either way i have the phone and i think it's very attractive, easy to use once you get past the initial setups ( i'm sure they will have updates for it to solve some little things ) for example transfering music much easier than many more devices out there and also the quality ( doesn't match ipod ofcourse ) and camera is very great( wished it had a better optical zoom ) , wifi is amazing option to have but i also had it on the N80. and many other things. the gps system not ipressed at all by the way. everything else is great.
